PUMPKINS and PUPPIES

After visiting with Brown Betty I stopped in at the Pumpkin Patch. I came home with a Cinderella Pumpkin.
{sorry no picture today}
I love everything about pumpkins
their different colors: orange, white, green,yellow and red
their different shapes and sizes
some for show
some for cooking
Lets just say pumpkins are fun .

Sam and Sadie resting with Mr.P.
They are rarely sitting still and together in one place to get a picture.

I promise my next post will have something quilty and wooly to talk about and share.

Oh I love those pumpkins---but even more--those adorable wienie dogs!! They remind me of my two, Dewey and Badger, that live across the Rainbow Bridge now. I'm always stopped in my tracks by little black-and-tan heartbeats at someone's feet. :D

I bought one of those Cinderella pumpkins a couple of years ago in Texas and brought it all the way home. I hadn't seen them here yet. Now occasionally I do. They're really fun. I've tried to grow them with the seeds I kept, but no luck.
