51-52/365 and HAPPY NEW YEAR

New seeds and treats put out for the birds in the hood to celebrate New Years Eve, and they came and feasted all day long. At times their was, no kidding, a waiting line! It’s a great show to watch from the kitchen table with a cup of coffee. I’m sure lots more pictures of these little creatures will be taken and shared in the following months.

Happy New Year to you all! Yes, these are my feet hitting the first walk of the New Year. I only meant to walk for maybe 20 minutes but ended up out there just strolling, planing and thinking for almost an hour. It was sunny but cold, the crispy kind of cold. Navigating all the un-shoveled walks was interesting. The rest of the day was spent knitting, a lot of knitting, Foyle’s War, a new season released!, And of course reading and eating!.
Hope your New Year day was relaxing and your 2016 is everything you could hope for!
