Oh my, never in my nursing career did I ever think something like this would happen, (COVID_19). It's not the pandemic that is a surprise, we have been practicing this for a long time, it's how underprepared the FEDS were and still are!
Pandemics are not diseases one plays catch up, it's the one, no one can fall further
than two steps behind! It's like working a full multiple traumas everywhere at once!
If your state is not in 'lock down', please put yourself and your entire household on full quarantine. We need to give the medical community a CHANCE to fight this!
On a brighter note, mere-et-filles is doing a ZOOM knitting meet up.
Check out her blog and get all the info. See you there!
I have not had my grandkids for 10 days, love keeping in touch with face time and pictures.

You are right! I'm in NJ for the duration and we're locked down, by the state and by common sense. It looks like you're keeping busy, and I hope you're also staying safe and healthy. (Sorry I couldn't join you for the Zoom knitting meet-up. We went for a hike instead. Next time!)
It was so lovely to see your face and hear your voice! Steve is heading to work most days, but they are on dramatically reduced staff (a max of 9 in the building at once per state rules now) so longer days, with less people makes it a challenge for all. Stay well and safe!
The being unprepared is very scary. We did a FaceTime call with our grandson this weekend and it was fun. We usually see him about 4-5 times a week so this is very odd.
