WHAT A WEEK

I use to do a lot of pictures and home made cards years ago. I have since put this craft aside but couldn't part with all the goodies I had acquired over the years, I also couldn't believe how much I spent on all those goodies.
They came in handy with B, we made Valentine Cards for her  friends at pre-school! She had a ball- cutting, stamping, punching, and best of all, GLUING!

It has been a crazy week here! Our house has been on the market and we had a contract that was to close the beginning of Feb. It's hard to close on a SCAM contract! What is really crazy,  no one saw it as a scam but my husband and I, we brought it up 1 week before closing. Because 2 BIG banks, three well known realtors, one big title co. and one lawyer were involved with this deal, no one thought a scam was possible.
SCAMMERS are good and can blindside anyone!

On to what I have been reading:
The Amazing Thing by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee
This is a  great LOL book!
SPM, I relate to this women and her style of life! She is an incredible knitter yet doesn't take herself too seriously! What is not to love.

One for The Blackbird, One For The Crow by Olivia Hawker
This book left me thinking for several days! Loved it!

Next up on the Reading Scene:
-Bettyville by George Hodgeman
-Parchment and Old Lace by Laura Childs
-The American Agent by Jacqueline Winspear

One of many stacks of clothe that needs to be turned into something, to wear by someone, some time SOON!

Finished stretched pants for GD-B. She told me her favorite color was blue and that she REALLY liked flamingos. Puddle Duck pattern (jumper/vest) is easy, potato chip knitting.
I think this outfit will be great for those winter days trying to turn to spring days here in Colorado.

Negroni shirt for my son.  I need to spend an hour on this shirt daily. I have to think so hard that too much time gives me a head ache. Where is Jill, my shirt making ninja when I need her?
I can do this, I can do this, said the old shirt making Mom.

Another pair stretch pants for my girl B.
I had made her space pants last spring and she wore them so much, she wore them OUT.
Wouldn't you know it, I had more material in the back room, otherwise known as 'the store;-]

I have been working on several other projects this  past week, (stress, it can be a motivator), but I'm not to a point to show them yet. And if you're wondering, I haven't left my home for several days and that's OK with me.

Hubby is getting some new teeth today, he is so excited. We are celebrating with a dinner out this evening.

Your cards are great (way to use up expensive supplies!) and all of your making is amazing. I hope much of it can help you to relieve stress because your house contract scam is absolutely awful! I hope it all turns out okay with no more scams!

I recently passed my box of scrapbooking that is visible from the stairs, and wondered "Why can't I part with this when I haven't used any of it in years?" I love your stack of homespuns. I don't think I have enough experience to sew with jersey knit, but the stretch pants are cute!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog, and your very kind words. :)
