AN AMERICAN

I am GRATEFUL and proud to be an American citizen

Love visiting historical sites

that remind me of just how wonderful  of a country I live in.
If you have never been to Washington DC it is a must for all Americans.

I wish our schools would put more emphasis on what it is to be an american. It seems like the only ones who truly know are homeschool kids. I homeschool but use an online curriculum. They don't really touch on Amercian History. I am going to supplement history next year with some American History material. In this land of tolerance we have forgotten what all those men and women before us have fought and died for.
