THE FOURTH of JULY

My Red and White Quilt. Tried to get it layered for quilting yesterday but too many other things to get done. Hopefully before our BBQ I will find the time to get this honey ready for the machine.

Finished my Aunt Philly rug.

Am pleased with how this rug turned out using "uglies" from my scrap bin. Uglies some how turned into BEAUTIFUL when all put together. Strange how that works out.

Have the house decorated

for the biggest summer holiday

of the year.

Enjoy your fourth, God bless AMERICA, and take a minute to remember everything and everyone who made it possible for us ALL to live in a FREE country !

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave

Hello there thanks for stopping by.
One of my 'to do' projects is a rag rug of some sort.

I also would like to make a red and white quilt and an irish chain!!

Hope you had a great day.
